Testimonial
I just want to drop you a quick note to let you know that I recently had an excellent experience with the home health and physical therapy services I received from your agency, ordered by Dr. Joseph D'Silva from IBJ.
My providers were Maria and Rudel. Both were consistently caring and competent. They were always prompt, with excellent communication skills; they were just very nice and reassuring. I was contacted by Maria even as I was leaving the hospital and then she visited me on my first morning after discharge. My physical therapy started immediately and Rudel's persistence and techniques got me moving and healing immediately and progressively. I loved working with both of them. You need to congratulate them - they are employees you should treasure.
Thanks again. I will recommend your agency as the opportunity arises. I have also mentioned this to Dr. D'Silva as he initiated the oder taught me so much about a subject I thought I was already an expert on: myself!

The primary differences between the two services depend on the stage of the patient's illness progression.
Home health is beneficial for patients that are recovering from an illness or injury, needing to restore function through therapy, or those recently diagnosed with a chronic disease.
Hospice services are beneficial for patients that are nearing end-of-life, specifically those with an illness prognosis of six months or less.

Most families choose Hospice Care when a loved one is diagnosed with an illness that can’t be cured. We recommend speaking with your loved one’s physician to discuss care options. If they believe that Hospice Care is the right choice, they’ll provide a referral. We are also available to speak with you about care options and to coordinate with your loved one’s physician. If the patient does not have a physician, we are able to provide a referral. Click here for contact information.

Most health plans cover Hospice, including Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance. Even if an individual doesn’t have insurance, hospice is still an option. We will not turn away any patients who need comfort and care during the last stages of their lives.
